Membership in the BCV Dance Center Booster Club gives families an opportunity to support the BCV competition community while accessing benefits, resources, fundraising opportunities, and special events throughout the season.

The Booster Club is powered by the participation of BCV families. Membership dues help support dancer meals, competition and recital resources, team celebrations, spirit wear assistance, and other Board-approved programs and benefits.

Membership is open to parents, caregivers, and legal guardians of competition dancers currently enrolled at BCV Dance Center.

Each membership may include up to two adults from the same family unit.

A family is considered in good standing once annual membership dues have been paid in full. Members who are not in good standing may attend general meetings but are not eligible for membership benefits or voting privileges.

What Membership Includes:

Competition Meals and Snacks

• Meal and snack support for enrolled dancers and eligible family members at studio-required regional competitions, subject to venue access and the current meal plan.

Recital Meals

• Meal and snack support for dancers participating in all-day recital shows.

End-of-Year Banquet

• Participation in the Booster Club’s end-of-year banquet celebration.

Spirit Wear Support

• A seasonal spirit wear subsidy, as determined by the Board.

Competition Assistance

• Eligibility for competition registration assistance and fundraising scholarship distributions as funds allow and according to current Booster Club policy.

Sponsored Events

• Participation in other Board-approved Booster Club activities, celebrations, and sponsored events.

Specific benefits may vary by season based on available funds, event schedules, venue restrictions, and Board-approved plans. Additional fees may be required for certain food purchases or special activities.

Each family unit in good standing receives one vote on matters presented to the general membership.

These matters may include:

• Election of Board members

• Significant changes to membership fees or benefits

• Major changes to the organization’s structure or direction

• Other matters referred to the membership by the Board

Members are also encouraged to:

• Attend general membership meetings

• Participate in fundraisers

• Volunteer at events

• Share ideas and feedback

• Consider committee or Board service
