The BCV Dance Center Booster Club operates independently from BCV Dance Center studio management while working collaboratively with the studio owners to support the goals, values, and needs of the BCV competition community.

Major fundraisers or activities involving the BCV Dance Center name, facilities, dancers, or families are coordinated with the studio owners. The Booster Club also provides regular updates regarding its programs, fundraising activities, and community initiatives.

What the Booster Club Does Not Manage

The Booster Club does not make decisions regarding:

• Dance instruction or choreography

• Auditions or team placement

• Solo, duo, trio, or group assignments

• Competition entries or scheduling

• Class or rehearsal schedules

• Costumes, music, or performance content

• Tuition, studio fees, or family studio accounts

• Studio staffing, policies, or operations

Parent-Led and Volunteer-Powered

The Booster Club is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of parents, caregivers, or legal guardians of currently enrolled BCV dancers.

The Board is responsible for overseeing the organization’s finances, records, membership, events, fundraising, food coordination, communications, and general operations.

The Board includes eight positions:

• Vice President

• Treasurer

• Secretary

• Event Coordinator

• Fundraising Coordinator

• Bake Sale Coordinator

• Food Coordinator

Our Membership Community

Membership is open to parents, caregivers, and legal guardians of competition dancers currently enrolled at BCV Dance Center.

Members in good standing may participate in Booster Club activities, attend general membership meetings, access eligible membership benefits, and vote on matters presented to the general membership.
